We are presently seeking a Master Data Specialist that will be responsible for the integrity and maintenance of the data in SAP.

Main responsibilities:

  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verify data by applying rules and guidelines, and working with data owners to rectify discrepancies
  • Works with internal customers to provide support for organizational transformation and change
  • Gather, organize and analyze data from Empower, SAP systems, and Sharepoint to assist with queries from various departments
  • Manage and maintain Item Master data and cross train in production data management system, Empower, including practices, procedures and forms. With support from IT personnel, ensure correct integration and ongoing communication between Empower, Sharepoint, and SAP.
  • Create and modify new items, along with all proper bills of material, attributes, and data. Launch and monitor change orders and other administrative duties within Empower.
  • Works with appropriate subject matter experts to create or revise procedures related SAP practices.
  • Conducts training on SAP, Sharepoint, and Empower systems for various user groups throughout the organization
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree or equivalent education or experience in configuration management preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Must be self-directed.
  • Exposure to product documentation management (PDM) systems, and MRP systems required. Empower and SAP experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO management systems and standards preferred.
  • Can type 50-60 words per minute
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, etc.
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to process work instructions, BOM structures and Item/Material Master management preferred
  • CM2 Comprehensive, Advanced or Professional certifications preferred but not required

Pay Range: $24 - $29 per hour, depending on experience.
