Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing operational support for securities, loans, exchange traded derivatives and over the counter derivatives across multiple lines of business through the lifecycle of a trade. Key responsibilities include handling trading and operational activities before deadlines, maintaining internal systems and providing operational support to internal partners. Job expectations include maintaining a high degree of accuracy with customers and data to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of proxy voting events and Class Action mailings. This role supports the end-to-end lifecycle and event notification activities, including event capture, validation, reconciliation, client communication, election processing, exception management, and adherence to regulatory and operational risk requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing event information from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, and coordinating with internal partners and external vendors to meet established client and market deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing proxy & class action related material and data
  • Process client instructions within established deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails
  • Timely response to internal/external client queries
  • Interface with lines of business supported (Wealth Management, Prime Finance), Vendors and international custodians
  • Liaising with internal departments and Vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues raised
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives
  • Maintain policies and procedures on related processes

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in securities or cash operations, proxy processing, corporate actions, or custody operations.
  • Good IT skills such as Microsoft office / excel, Copilot experience a plus
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Work effectively with others by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships built on mutual respect and trust
  • Escalate issues that demonstrate risk to customers/clients and/or the company
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
  • Seeks to advance knowledge and improve skills
