Job Description:

The Web Strategy & Experience Leader is responsible for driving the development of the Crowe LLP online presence in support of the firm's business and brand strategy. Our ideal candidate is an experienced web site leader who is a blend of web strategist, data-driven marketer, innovator, and pragmatic problem solver with a human-centered focus.

In this position, you will help shape the strategic roadmap for the site and will be responsible for executing against that roadmap. We are looking for a senior leader who can translate strategy into tactics and team efforts that achieve defined metrics. You must also work in a hands-on capacity to develop team skills, implement systems, and troubleshoot issues.

In this role, you will work closely with UX design, growth marketing, development resources, content producers, and agencies to proactively manage, prioritize, execute, and continually optimize the site. You will be responsible for ensuring the site can support larger digital and media strategies, campaigns, and integrations. You will bring rigor and business acumen to metrics and reporting to demonstrate the value and impact of our site and will continuously identify opportunities to improve the website experience and conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve the web site to create a strong online presence for Crowe LLP that fuels our growth, builds the brand, and educates and guides visitors at all stages of the decision-making cycle.
  • Help shape, maintain, and execute a roadmap of web projects, deliverables, and initiatives. Develop processes and procedures to ensure projects are prioritized by impact and delivered on time.
  • Own multiple web projects simultaneously ensuring updates are executed smoothly, on schedule, and within scope to keep the site fresh, engaging, and relevant.
  • Manage external agencies and service providers to support web projects as needed.
  • Collaborate across teams, including practice strategy, content strategy, channel marketing, and external agencies to ensure web plans align with strategic initiatives including personalized content experiences, customer marketing, and support paid campaigns.
  • Partner closely with brand, content, marketing operations, and dev teams to bring projects and designs to life on the website consistent with UX and SEO best practices and style guidelines.
  • Seek opportunities to improve web processes, increasing speed, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Support website optimization strategies that improve user experience and demand generation, using A/B and user testing, personalization, ABM, and CRO strategies and initiatives.
  • Responsible for ensuring web information architecture, navigation, customer journey is clear, compelling and consistent for desktop and mobile.
  • Collaborate as part of a larger team on the global crowe.com strategy and evolution.
  • Help lead IA and UX workshops and evolve workshop approach.
  • Help evolve and present full-funnel website metrics
  • Clearly understand site performance, analyze trends and business results, and use this data to develop new actions to improve results.
  • Keep current and continuously seek out new technologies and applications that help Crowe LLP achieve its goals.

Qualifications:

Technology

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Sitecore (Version 10+ preferred)
  • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
  • Brightedge or comparable SEO tools
  • Marketo

General

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in web site strategy and management.
  • Experience working in a large matrixed B2B environment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise with web strategy development and a track record translating strategy into tangible outcomes.
  • Experience planning and leading client workshops.
  • Hands-on experience managing the web production process. You have worked closely with and understand information architecture, user experience, interaction design, visual design initiatives, analytics/testing and development (including mobile). You can leverage the hands-on experience to consult and guide stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead website engagement and conversion strategies as well as implement tactical requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SEO.
  • Experience managing external resource relationships (agency or contractor).
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically.
  • Experience with agile principles and teams, specifically Scrum.
  • Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously. You can push back on deadlines, scope of work thoughtfully and gracefully.
  • You are a 'consumer' of data and analytics and know how to use it to your advantage.
  • Detail-level knowledge of digital technologies, platforms and related network and media concepts. Significant experience managing large platforms, applications and providers.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, editorial and communications skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple projects dealing with multiple constituencies.
  • The ability to learn and develop new, relevant technology skills when required.
  • Service-oriented with outstanding problem-solving and project management skills.
