Devo is a privately held, hyper-growth SaaS company, and we are looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about cybersecurity, building strong connections with our buyers, and making a positive impact on enterprises and the community.

This key position will report to the Manager, Product Marketing, and will be responsible for managing the differentiated narrative that resonates with and attracts buyers, launching products that support our roadmap strategy, and enabling our sellers with proven, repeatable sales motions that enable them to accelerate wins.

We are looking for someone who will roll up their sleeves, and fiercely work to accelerate our go-to-market by working closely with product management, sales, customers, partners, and demand generation. You should be technical enough to fully understand our innovative technology and then be able to translate our differentiation into concise and compelling messages and content for our customers. A positive, can-do attitude is a must, while also being able to have fun while disrupting the cybersecurity market.

Responsibilities:

  • Messaging: Drive solution positioning and corresponding messaging that uniquely differentiates the company’s solutions from the competition.
  • Sales and marketing content development: Bring your writing and analytical prowess to deliver compelling long-form and short-bite content. Quality in each piece matters – across collateral including white papers, presentations, videos, blog posts, and demos.
  • Product launches & campaigns: Lead the market launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Collaborate with the demand generation team to meet goals and objectives, and support them with campaign assets that deliver results.
  • Communications: Work with sales and marketing communications to broadcast the message to the target market, across the organization, and the industry ecosystem.
  • Market and competitive intelligence: Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to beat them.
  • Industry leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, speaking engagements, and social media.

Qualifications:

  • Successful track record of working collaboratively with distributed cross-functional teams
  • Forward-thinker, adept at interpreting data analyses and drawing marketing implications from research and customer insight
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into a clear, compelling story
  • Proven showcase of authored content and ability to speak confidently to different audiences
  • Strong business understanding and ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on impact
  • Must be a self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment

Experience and Education:

  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in product marketing, product management, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of security industry experience, preferably marketing SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and EDR, and the value for both technical and non-technical personas
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is desirable

Travel:

This position requires about 15 to 20% overnight travel
