Be a part of the Marketing Communications team, bringing your expertise to help drive better outcomes on the front-facing channel of social media.
Role Overview:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, executing and measuring our strategies across social platforms to drive brand awareness, company culture, news, sales and marketing. You will play a key role in the content strategy, community engagement, development and deployment across multiple departments – helping us create built-for-social content that reaches and engages the right audiences.
This is an ideal role for someone who is self-motivated, creative, analytical, and collaborative.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Social Media Director to determine the content/campaign calendar for paid and organic content across channels
- Manage a content calendar with both requests and curated content for daily postings across several platforms
- Monitor social media feeds for engagement opportunities or department routing
- Implement and optimize organic social engagement and growth through a variety of creative initiatives
- Determine, implement and optimize the select paid social strategy platforms
- Drive metrics reporting and analytics programs to measure efficacy of both paid & organic social campaigns/programs
- Oversee the creation, testing and optimization of content across channels
- Collaborate and execute community engagement across departments including marketing, events, public relations, analyst relations, and product management.
- Advise international social teams, human resources, and ESG/D&I teams on social media best practices
- Continually monitor performance and give insights on how to optimize better for results
- Manage employee advocacy for content syndication via platform
Personal characteristics:
- Deep knowledge and passion for social media – native to the space
- Driven to balance smart strategy with content that performs against KPIs while keeping in brand
- Understanding of the enterprise B2B buying cycle and demand generation.
- High visual and creative aesthetic filters – can inspire and help develop strong creative content that contributes to brand affinity and advocacy
- Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders, platforms and communities to ensure that strategies/goals are understood and met on deadline
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing across multiple shifting priorities
- Can collaborate and help develop strong creative content that contributes to brand affinity and advocacy
Qualifications/Skills:
- 5+ years in social media marketing, with a focus on B2B brands or B2BtoB2C
- 2 years of experience in managing social media campaigns, budget management, designing tracking, and measurement. Both organic and paid.
- Experience working with social platforms (e.g., YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter.)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong analytic skills – ability to use data to develop, optimize and measure social programs
- Experience with social management tools ex: Sprout Social or Hootsuite
- Experience with social platforms (ex. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and TikTok.)
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Salesforce and bonus
