Our Search Engine Optimization team is essential to the overall strategy, planning and campaign execution for our clients. The SEO Strategist will lead these efforts through collaboration with internal SEO and account teams to strategize and implement holistic SEO programs from engagement through to completion with a strategic lens on driving measurable business outcomes for our clients. An experienced, self-driven SEO professional is essential to success in this role.

In this role, you will:

• Lead internal teams to complete keyword research, prioritize findings and provide strategic oversight into how findings support client business objectives.
• Perform regular technical audits & analysis and make recommendations to improve overall site performance and site architecture
• Work with internal teams to determine the most efficient manner to implement SEO findings and recommendations for the long-term success of large-impact projects.
• Be held accountable to long-term performance, client expectations and overall program success for medium-to-large scale SEO projects.
• Have the ability to work cross-departmentally with our paid and content teams to align keyword recommendations of primary meta elements including URL structure, page titles and descriptions, headline usage and image optimizations to larger program objectives.
• Command a full understanding of Google tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business, Google Datastudio.
• Excellence in managing SEO programs through a variety of platforms such as ScreamingFrog, Moz, SEMRush, Ahrefs and DeepCrawl.
• Excellence in working with internal SEO and account teams to compile and review reporting, develop high-level narrative and lead client reporting presentations.
• Be able to proactively spot opportunities to improve account performance or expand offerings, produce a point of view and present the account expansion opportunity directly to the client with the support of the account team.
• Have the ability to act as the search engine optimization subject matter expert for clients as well as internal teams.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have excellent analytical, decision-making and problem solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellence in Google Search Console.
• Excellence with Google My Business.
• Excellence in Google Analytics.
• Excellence in Excel and Excel formulas.
• Command a full understanding of SEO tools such as ScreamingFrog, Deepcrawl, Ahrefs, SEMRush.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience including keyword research, tracking and direct implementation.
