This is a 100% remote, full-time position with scheduled work hours of Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm EST. Central Time and Mountain Time hours will also be considered.

Job Description

Your role as the SEO Advisor includes the strategy, setup, execution, and ongoing optimization of the SEO efforts for Kuno and clients of Kuno. Your goal is to help our clients build brand awareness, get found online, and capture and nurture leads to grow revenue. You will be an advocate for SEO throughout the organization working cross-functionally to increase overall search rankings and traffic, manage the development of technical SEO implementations, and monitor changes in our page rankings.

Additionally, in this role you will be responsible for growing the revenues for this department by educating and assisting our sales team. You report to the Demand Generation Director.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide SEO support for all ongoing web projects for their line of business, including new product launches, page refreshes, and site re-designs
  • Plan, execute and optimize on-page website content and landing pages, making routine updates as needed
  • Research and analyze keyword strategies, performing ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, prioritization, and optimization using popular SEO tools, such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console
  • Conducting outreach and link building efforts to acquire high domain authority links
  • Aggressively monitor, analyze, and optimize website activity, traffic trends, SERP rankings and customer acquisition & metrics related to Visits, Units, and overall user experience
  • Assess account KPIs regularly and optimize campaigns to effectively utilize media budget while achieving client goals
  • Work with popular website content management systems (WordPress & HubSpot) to make SEO updates and improvements



Requirements

Job-Specific Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in SEO marketing with demonstrated successes
  • Ability to clearly communicate strategy and results with clients, creating a level of trust between the client and our organization
  • Ability to communicate with Kuno team members, educating and helping team members strategize the best course of action for our clients
  • Certification in Google Analytics
  • Strong ability to perform technical site analysis, site compliance audits, and content compliance
  • Advanced knowledge of HubSpot and Inbound Marketing methodology and proper certification
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools


Education & Training

Kuno uses HubSpot sales and marketing software for most clients. Experience with HubSpot is preferred. You will be given access to the HubSpot Academy online courses for ongoing training and education. During the first three months of employment, you will be asked to complete several video courses that provide certifications for a variety of topics that will help you have the most success in this position. Most courses are composed of a few hours of watching videos followed by a short exam of around 50 multiple-choice questions. The certifications need to be renewed annually.
