Highlights:
As the Product Marketing Manager, you are passionate about helping your products and teams achieve their market goals. You lead the planning and execution of marketing efforts for our Managed Network Services that include network security, managed local area network (LAN), WiFi and SD-WAN. You focus on crafting our opportunity in the market by maintaining a current in-depth understanding of various audiences, personas and competitors. You combine your expertise in market insight and your understanding of the buyer's journey to define and position effective messaging.
You excel at guiding go-to-market planning, identifying content requirements and thought leadership opportunities, driving sales enablement and training and executing competitive product analyses. You maximize marketing efforts by collaborating with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, technology partners and clients. You report directly to the Director of Product Marketing for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
- Encourage company-wide success through active and consistent support of all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
- Achieve marketing objectives by defining marketing requirements, establishing a comprehensive marketing strategy and leading cross-functional teams to implement the plan to grow awareness, preference and purchase of existing products.
- Launch new products into the market while leading cross-functional teams to execute launch plans by constructing comprehensive strategies and requirements.
- Create product appeal and ensure specific audience needs are addressed by defining, sizing and prioritizing the market, identifying requirements and defining marketing segments, target audiences and personas.
- Research the current buyer and competitor market through proactive market scans, client and seller interviews and communication with internal and external research groups, technology vendors, industry organizations and other expert sources.
- Develop playbooks for Sales and Marketing teams to provide effective guidance to identify market opportunity, qualify prospects and present unique product value.
- Guide marketing efforts by conceptualizing, defining and crafting clear, persuasive website copy, seller reference materials, return on investment (ROI) tools, battle cards, product briefs and product presentations while ensuring all Sales reference materials remain current.
- Perform additional duties related the position as assigned.
Required keys for success:
- Ten or more years of experience in product marketing or a related position.
- Previous technology marketing experience with the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of relevant technology.
- Proven ability to effectively explain value and benefits derived from technical concepts and convey them to all types of audiences.
- Experience creating effective messaging, positioning and sales enablement tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to set and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in deliverables.
- Prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage all phases of a large project, such as product launches, from beginning to end with sufficient autonomy.
- Prior experience working with all levels of an organization, different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience.
- History of showing sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties and resolve issues while working under pressure.
- Confidence when conducting formal presentations or speaking publicly to large audiences, including trade events.
- Track record of analyzing and interpreting data and market research to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise.
- Ability to evaluate, recommend and execute strategies and actions quickly and accurately.
- Detail-oriented balanced with the ability to think strategically.
- Highly developed capacity for teamwork with the ability to foster and manage change.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
How you will stand out from the crowd:
- Four or more years of experience building end-to-end marketing or product introduction plans and managing the execution across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in IT, networking, wireless, software or security industries.
- Strong marketing acumen and ability to quickly lead conversations and assess partner strategies for effective demand generation, content marketing and social media endeavors.
- Effective storytelling skills and demonstrated experience writing or creating clear and impactful product presentations, battle cards, product briefs, analyst resources and web pages.
Your education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
- Master's degree in a related field (preferred).
