The Role
Overhaul is looking for a Senior Marketing Copywriter. The Senior Marketing Copywriter will partner with various stakeholders to maintain the brand voice in a fast-paced environment. This role will sit within the Brand Marketing team and support brand-forward copy that helps advance business buyers through their customer journeys, from top of funnel activities all the way down to bottom of funnel. In collaboration with stakeholders, the Senior Marketing Copywriter will help launch new content leveraging all input to inform the overall brand expression from our design language to our storytelling and everything in-between as part of Overhaul’s B2B shared services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Concepting, writing, and executing content programs across digital channels, including but not limited to blogs, presentations, webinars, case studies, web, email, promotional campaigns, social, events, digital video, and more.
- Write and deliver an engaging, consistent brand voice across all customer touchpoints that is creative and engaging - capturing an audience’s attention, and inspires action.
- Interpret creative direction and adapt points from campaign briefs into persuasive copy concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple writing assignments and work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment, which requires you to be proactive and communicative with stakeholders.
- Work with the marketing team to develop innovative and high-impact campaigns and deliverables based on marketing objectives.
- Take complex product language and distill it into clear, simple language that customers understand and connect with.
- Produce error-free content that adheres to brand and style guidelines.
- Continuously improve and adapt brand and style guidelines to evolve brand voice with business goals and direction.
- Edit and proofread as needed.
- Collaborate with the Creative, Go-to-Market, Product Marketing and Growth Marketing teams to drive results and propose copy concepts.
- Work with digital marketing to test and optimize messaging.
- Develop bold ideas and creative approaches to telling Overhaul’s story in ways that drive both acquisition and customer loyalty.
- Responsible for delivering quality work that adheres to briefs, is on brand, and is forward thinking.
- Supporting additional responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- You know how to tell compelling stories about brands to multiple audiences using copy, visual design and creativity.
- You have a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and champion collaboration at all levels.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strategic and conceptual thinking applied across a range of channels.
- Blend of conceptual thinking and technical knowledge.
- Experience telling a compelling story, driving engagement and action.
- Can effectively partner and build relationships with cross functions partners.
- Exceptional organizational skills and great attention to detail.
About You:
- 5-7+ years of experience copywriting at creative agencies or in-house (agency, advertising or technology-enabled companies preferred).
