ROLE SUMMARY

Loyalty is a company-wide priority at Anheuser Busch. We are looking for somebody to lead MyCooler, AB's loyalty platform in North America. The Solution Architect is somebody who can give a singular product focus to our marketing and technical teams to ensure wherever our brands show up - be it at pro sports, concerts, TV, etcwe are ready to digitally connect with consumers.

Included in this is working with our brands and loyalty teams to identify product opportunities within our yearly plans, identifying the correct success metrics, crafting and documenting features/changes to achieve these metrics, and clearly explaining, from both a technical and consumer perspective, the value of this product evolution. The entire value chain of the product - from consumer insight through to consumer data - will have your influence. To achieve this, the SA will have to clearly identify who from around our business needs to be at the table and for what purpose. The ability to clearly articulate the product vision and lead confidently in the aligned direction is required for success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy

  • Be the subject matter expert as a source of market trends and consumer needs.
  • Identify and articulate opportunities and gaps, through data, in the current product.
  • Ability to clearly explain the overall loyalty product strategy and key strategic opportunities for a best-in-class loyalty product meets consumers needs as well as that of a market-leading business.
  • Lead the vision for how new features and partners can be used to enhance the product experience.
  • Define, understand, and improve key growth metrics, based on business impact and supported by data from your product.

Technical knowledge

  • Create delivery documents (Product Requirement Documents) which detail product changes.
  • Configures products at an advanced level confidently to meet business needs
  • Know the product top to bottom - from the technical aspects through to delivery of new changes/features.
  • Partner with engineers and designers to ideate, prioritize and deliver great solutions for our members and brands
  • Understands the system of tools used to bring the product to life.
  • Can listen to consumer and marketing strategy to identify required changes/updates to the product.

Consumer-Minded

  • Can clearly articulate, via product demos, the consumer-centric business case for updates and changes to the product.
  • Articulate enough to be the voice of the consumer represented in solution design
  • Collaborate with system leads to understand their business and technology architecture to identify blockers/enablers for product improvements.
  • Clearly articulate what we can learn about our consumers, products, and brands through data gathered. Help drive meaningful insights back into the business.
  • Has the ability to represent the technical side and consumer side of the product.
  • Raises trends with implementation complications and plans to address these trends. Is the advisor for both the business and tech teams on changing developments in the loyalty space.
  • Co-develops strategies with the system leads for building impactful architecture by staying ahead of market trends on consumer behavior.
  • Prioritizes tech teams' efforts to stay in front of a changing consumer landscape.

  • Can 'hold the room' with senior leaders, marketing leaders, and tech leaders.



Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience building consumer web/mobile products; experience and passion for marketing and consumer techis a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills to break down and solve complex problems
  • Strong perspective on this domain with an openmindedness for an evolution of that perspective.
  • Empathy for consumer needs. You have a sense for consumer painpoints and how to solve them to achieve a win for consumers and our brands.
  • Product sense and craftsmanship. You will own important product interactions, so it is important to have an understanding of data, technical and UX/UI related concepts.
  • Have a successful track record of leading crossfunctional teams to deliver great product experiences
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Extra bonus for fluency in Spanish and/or basic coding understanding (no coding required for position)
