An Insider's view of Media.Monks

What are some social events your company does?

In LA, we celebrate 'First Fridays,' themed celebrations when all employees would invite friends, clients, other people in the business, for a rooftop party at our Abbot Kinney office. In a world of virtual happy hours, its not quite the same, but our amazing people work to keep the social spirit and the heart of the company alive.

Tara

Senior Experiential Producer

What does your typical day look like?

A typical day for me starts with cortado, after all, we're fueled by coffee, right? From there, the real work begins! As an Associate Account Director, I get to work with brilliant minds, across our strategy, creative and data teams. My role is to not only pinpoint growth opportunities for brands, but also execute each project strategically.

Shenica

Associate Account Director,

How does the company support your career growth?

My time as a Monk has been nothing short of incredible. My most appreciated aspect is the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone. Coming into the company, one of my goals was to be uncomfortable because I understand discomfort breeds growth. From the get-go, everyone at Media.Monks took the time to understand my goals, passions, & plans.

Arion

S4Capital Fellow

What is your vision for the company?

Our company is growing so fast, and with it, so many opportunities for anyone at any stage of their career. Our work spans from more ‘agency style’ as AOR (Creative, Social, Culture, Hispanic) to Innovation to Embedded and more Production with our work across Film & Content, Platforms, Experiential. Here, Monks can be anyone or anything they want.

Lara

Managing Director, Los Angeles

What’s the vibe like in the office?

We’re truly global with a local spirit. It’s an international community here in LA with shared passion for the work and the people. A small creative crew with access to global talent through our single P&L model. I’ve been at Media.Monks for 7 years and, although it feels like a new company every year, the culture always has remained constant.
