Scheduling & Sponsorship Ad Manager
Job Summary:Disney Advertising Sales is responsible for advertising sales for the Company’s entertainment, sports, news and kids linear and digital and radio business. US Ad Operations leads the operational function for the Disney Ad Sales team. The US Linear Operations team focuses on the functions of account management, trafficking, scheduling and sponsorship for the linear business for networks ESPN, ABC, FreeForm, Disney, FX and National Geographic. In this role, you would be responsible for the trafficking of all linear activity on the ESPN Networks.

Employees in this role will handle all traffic responsibilities for all linear commercial activity on the ESPN suite of networks. (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPN News, SEC, ACC, & Deportes) This Individual will process all incoming traffic for assigned Account Executives, will maintain current flights, execute revisions, and help manage the traffic archival system. Individual will work closely with TV Account Managers and Account Executives to execute the terms of the ad sale, performing a vital function for the company.
Responsibilities:
- AD Manager will be responsible for a list of advertising accounts assigned by management. For those specific accounts the Ad Manager will:
- Clear the copy missing on a broadcast day basis for each of the eight linear ESPN cable networks.
- Process all incoming ESPN instructions for cable flights as well as spot specific traffic for premium live event.
- Run a Copy Summary check on all assigned copy flights before releasing to air.
- Maintain traffic inbox by processing new flights, revising current flights and communicating any discrepant issues with external ad agencies, management and sales team.
- Engage in daily communication with Account Management team to fill client needs such as isci rotations, spot placement, and day of air revisions if necessary.
- Provide ongoing feedback for improved efficiencies.
- May be required to work late, including nights and weekends, as necessary, due to network deadlines.
- Act as a floater and availability to work in other AE accounts as needed.
- Maintain digital traffic archives.
- Assist in training of new hires, provide QC testing for any relevant system upgrades, and assist in compiling missing lists for Scheduling team.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of experience in related industry, Familiarity with ad operations (traffic, allocations, etc…) are preferred
- Can operate within the context of highly defined, routine processes and procedures adhering to organizational deadlines
- Proven leadership & problem solving skills
- Has knowledge of Disney’s multimedia properties
- Enjoys working as part of a team

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Required Education
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
