The Challenge
In this role, you will work with product management, pricing, brand, connected, DTC, and sales teams. You will drive the Commercial growth strategy for Global Specialty Products (GSP).
The successful candidate will drive GSP growth by creating excitement around the category with key internal/external stakeholders. This will be accomplished through a high level of focus and action on the execution of key projects.
What you will Do
Creative Content Creation:
• Responsible for the creative process, messaging, and commercial content for all GSP products
• Develop and execute all merchandising programs (i.e.
• Develop and execute all NPI commercialization planning packages for field sales
• Coordinate activities with Product Marketing to influence Product Plans and Strategies to drive growth
• Drive NPI activities by working with agencies and business stakeholders to deliver assets to schedule and with excellence
Digital & DTC Marketing:
• Drive GSP Digital connection rate and digital engagement.
- Use data to provide tailored messaging/products/solutions to individual customers & segments
• Execute current plan and drive future strategy to achieve more GSP software and accessory sales
• Drive successful Direct to Consumer strategy execution for GSP
Communications, Meetings, Support:
• Manage GSP communications across commercial organization (Training, sales communications, Yammer, etc.)
• Support Commercial Director with key presentations (i.e. M- Review, C-review)
• Support Commercial Director with strategic activities (i.e. Time to Think, RENO, PACE)
• Interface with Field Sales and Customers to maximize effectiveness of merchandising programs
Competitive Intelligence & Brand:
• Maintain Competitive Intel to enable quick decision-making and price/share optimization
• Maintain competitive price and product tracking files
• Become the team expert on the House of Brands strategy, and how to best incorporate it into the full Commercial launch process
What you need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree in Marketing or Business-related field
• Minimum of 7 years of Commercial experience (i.e. sales, marketing, pricing and operations)
• Ability to influence across a matrix organization
• Self-initiative with a hunger for excellence
• Ability to prioritize and execute critical tasks in a complex and changing environment
• High attention to detail, presentation, project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Willing and able to travel to customers and GEA sites, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience driving growth in Commercial roles (i.e., sales, marketing, pricing)
• Experience with Digital strategies - (i.e., Direct to Consumer, Digital Marketing, Software Sales/Marketing)
• Experience with Data-driven Marketing
