POSITION SUMMARY

In this remote opportunity, the Product Marketing Manager will take the lead on providing marketing direction for CallRevu's products so they "fly-off the shelf." The Product Marketing Manager will partner with internal and external stakeholders across all CallRevu departments to market and clearly convey the story of our products and their benefits. This role will have an intimate understanding of our customers, partners, resellers, and competitors to allow our marketing launches and tactics to have the greatest impact on product adoption, retention, and brand loyalty and recognition. The Product Marketing Manager is an expert on our product, evangelizing it through marketing programs that focus on driving revenue and market-leadership.

Essential Functions

Product Marketing and Positioning

  • Develops product positioning to ensure consistent messaging that resonates with our customers, partners, and resellers and at all stages of the buyer and user journey. This includes ensuring all marketing messaging is clear and consisted, allowing successful product marketing launches that enable and empower the sales and client services teams to sell CallRevu's products for "stickiness."
  • Partners with the product, sales, client services, finance, and data analytics teams to develop actional insights around feature adaptation to ensure CallRevu's products are meeting the needs of our target audience.
  • Writes content to educate internal and external stakeholders on product features and benefits.
  • Creates content to communicate the benefits of CallRevu's products to our intended audience for sales enablement, product videos, blog posts, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Works closely with the marketing team on lead generation to ensure CallRevu is executing revenue focused programs and campaigns. This includes supporting the go-to-market plan with relevant content creation.
  • Participates in speaking opportunities both internally and externally to promote the "story" of CallRevu's products.
  • Understands and documents the personas of CallRevu's buyers and end users to recognize and allow our products to address their intended journey. This includes being a subject matter expert (SME) on their motivators, detractors, influencers, and buying triggers.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal partners, including the product, sales, and marketing teams, to develop a product positioning framework to support CallRevu's content that will resonate with our target audience.
  • Develops effective internal tools, tactics, and collateral for use by the sales team. This includes educating them on how to use these to position CallRevu for growth in our market. This includes aligning the product and sales teams on product strategy and messaging.


Market and Competitor Research

  • Researches and understands who CallRevu's competitors are and becomes an expert on their products, including understanding how they are positioned in the market.
  • Collaborates with the marketing and sales teams to identify events to contribute to the growth of our sales pipeline.
  • Conducts research on assigned topics to write articles as a SME as needed. This includes conducting interviews and obtaining customer quotes and success stories to support the topic.
  • Partners with the marketing team to ensure campaign launches appropriately reach and resonate with our target customer audience to support lead growth goals.
  • Participates in activities like customer interviews, focus groups, and round tables to understand what their pain points are and what they want to achieve when using CallRevu's products. This includes compiling comprehensive follow up reports to the ELT and management teams to educate them on what our customers want so we can properly plan future strategic product developments and positioning to be a leader in our industry.
  • Measures and optimizes the buyer's journey as it relates to product feature adaptation and usage to use this data-driven information for future strategic plans.


Leadership

  • Partners with the VP of Product and department leaders to think "outside of the box" on planning and execution of CallRevu's strategic plan for product marketing to ensure alignment and execution of the OGSM.
  • Collaborates with peers and colleagues in other departments to improve CallRevu's operations and ensures best in class, flawless delivery to customers.
  • Ensures alignment to CallRevu's Mission, Vision, and Values to meet organizational goals.


Is This You:

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's in related field or MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of concentrated product marketing experience. Automotive and/or SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience acting as a liaison between the product and sales departments to ensure strategic and directional alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market and customer research and analysis to develop product communication/marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to leverage data and drive product innovation using analytical skills for a scalable product with clear ROI.
  • Proven ability to verify what is or is not working through use of ROI tracking and measurement.
  • Ability to think strategically in a "problem-solving" manner and be open minded to partner with other departments to leverage market knowledge to meet and respond to customer needs.
  • Proven experience leading others, managing projects, and executing large multi-faceted projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity using CRM tools such as SalesForce and marketing automation tools such as Hubspot or Marketo with the aptitude to learn.
  • Familiarity using sales enablement tools such as SalesHood, Showpad, Gong, and/or Outreach with the aptitude to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to think strategically and be an effective storyteller.
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to interact with different levels of team members, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third-party partners.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and gain buy-in, follow up on requests, and complete projects and tasks according to assigned timeframes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate upcoming needs of the customer.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually in a remote environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and respond to changing needs as they present in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to partner with multiple departments within the organization to ensure cross-departmental communication and synergy.
  • Ability to align to CallRevu's Mission, Vision, Values, and goals to support the sales initiatives and organizational needs.
