Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager, Mobility to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or Indianapolis, Indiana. For candidates outside of these areas, we will consider a remote employee. You need to reside in the Eastern Time Zone or the Central Time Zone.

The Role:

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering product marketing campaigns at Dickinson Fleet Services/Cox Automotive Mobility. The primary focus of the Product Marketing Manager will be driving customer growth across all service areas within Dickinson Fleet Services/Cox Automotive Mobility.

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for establishing and executing a marketing strategy focused on fleet services that drives awareness, lead generation, and sales enablement campaigns for new and existing client segments.

This role will work across marketing, research, sales, product, training, and operations to influence and position Dickinson Fleet Services/Cox Automotive Mobility as the industry leading fleet services offering in the marketplace. The Product Marketing Manager will need to become an expert on the products, services, target markets, clients, and competition to translate knowledge into high-impact materials that clearly communicate the value of our products to the marketplace.

The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with stakeholders across Cox Automotive to identify and capitalize on opportunities to broaden customer adoption and utilization of products and services.

This position reports to the Director, Marketing Dickinson Fleet Services/Cox Automotive Mobility.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver campaign assets based on pre-developed marketing plans. These plans will be developed at an annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly perspective.
  • Marketing deliverables will consist of awareness, lead generation, sales enablement, and strategic initiatives materials, including positioning, messaging, social media, paid media, print, email marketing, web-based marketing, thought leadership, sales collateral, challenger messaging, competitive battlecards, etc.
  • Partner across the marketing team members to deploy campaigns to target segments with ongoing reporting and analytics to quantify and optimize campaign performance.
  • Curate the marketing plan for new products and services, representing marketing within the cross-functional implementation of the business plan.
  • Assist with managing the marketing budget for Dickinson Fleet Services/Cox Automotive Mobility customer growth, including (but not limited to) sponsorships, events, agency spend, and paid media spend.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business, work closely during product pilots to understand the product value, key messaging, and early adopters to drive marketing collateral,testimonials, and case studies.
  • Communicate regularly with product, operations, and sales leadership to keep current on marketing activities, provide updates and insight-based suggestions on future campaigns and strategies.
  • Partner with market research to test marketing concepts and messaging for target markets.
  • Use "voice of the client" perspective when developingproduct positioning and messaging that differentiates Dickinson Fleet Services/Cox Automotive Mobility in the marketplace for target clients.
  • Work acrossCox Automotive to identify opportunities to promoteexisting offeringsand services.
  • Provide input and strategic direction to support major company initiatives, partnering with marketing team members to create assets such as press releases, campaign launch materials, internal/external sales enablement, and advertising.
  • Develop strategic marketing analysis where needed, working with market research team. Examples include creating and partnering with research to conduct market analysis, SWOT, market sizing, revenue projection, and detailed competitive investigation.
  • Create high-impact internal and customer-facing materials that clearly communicate the value proposition and unique advantage of Dickinson Fleet Services/Cox Automotive Mobility offerings.
  • Identify and assesses opportunities based upon market demands, unmet needs, common issues or underlying causes, competitive analysis, and potential business relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline and 5 years of experience in product and/or marketing or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Experience working with product and marketing teams
  • Experience working with agency partners
  • Pragmatic Institute certifications a plus
  • Experience in developing creative for advertising materials and advertising communications
  • Developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams in both leadership and member roles
  • Excellent presentation, verbal communication and writing skills
  • Analysis skills to not only present data but also summarize the findings and propose recommendations for future improvement
  • Ability to work with sales teams on sales enablement materials
  • Support marketing events at a national level
  • Innovative and vision in the area of marketing and campaign development
  • Must have a style that promotes respect, credibility, and trust throughout the organization/
  • Strategic thinker and creative marketer
  • Ability to embrace change, wear multiple hats and work in a variety of environments, from start-ups to matrixed organizations
  • Results oriented and self-motivated
  • Knowledge of marketing technologies (ex. Salesforce, Seismic, Social Platforms)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Maintenance experience and recruitment marketing a plus
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the year
