Aktify is looking for a PR and Social Media Manager to join our team in Lehi, Utah. The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, humble and a natural communicator. This person will lead our content marketing, public relations and social media platforms and take on full responsibility for the strategy, collaboration, execution and measurement of campaigns, with the goal of building and enhancing a favorable image of Aktify with potential candidates, clients and the public. We are growing and need someone that can hit the ground running!

Responsibilities

• Manage and own marketing content strategy/creation, PR and social media
• Understand needs and objectives of prospective customers
• Run and execute content strategy in coordination with marketing and sales teams
• Manage relationship with internal creative team and external agencies that will help with copywriting and design
• Develop and execute a social media strategy and gain a following of the right people - specifically focused on LinkedIn
• Help with recruiting efforts through linkedin, collateral and other channels
• Seek out and apply for industry awards that will showcase Aktify and it’s product
• Create a PR plan and work with executive team to write and publish press releases 
• Report on success of content pieces, social media campaigns and other initiatives and tie them to main KPIs, with the ability to pivot based on results.

• Identify and develop opportunities and PR connections for Aktify 
• Plan and budget for PR events, programs and initiatives

Requirements

• Hunger to learn, grow and take on new challenges
• Proven success with social media campaigns and PR management
• Knowledge and experience with common monitoring and reporting tools for Social Media and PR
• Published content in TechCrunch, Inc., Fast Company or other prominent tech start-up publications

• A passion for staying current with social media trends and tools – including attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts
• Experience building and executing a marketing content strategy
• Basic knowledge of SEO and google analytics
• Ability to direct webinars and videos to reflect Aktify’s brand
