Partner Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic self-starter to join Altair's Corporate Marketing team as Partner Marketing Specialist at our corporate headquarters facility in Troy, Michigan. The role will support the Corporate Development (Corp Dev) group responsible for strategic decisions to grow Altair business, establish strategic partnerships, and achieve organizational excellence.

As a member of this team, you will contribute to all aspects of our co-marketing activities with partners globally.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and highly organized go-getter with the ability to work effectively both independently and as a contributing member of our team. You must also have experience in a previous partner marketing role and have a partner-centric attitude to yield results that are mutually beneficial to Altair and the partner organization.

What You Will Do:

• Deliver upon agreed marketing activities including development of joint messaging, collateral, sales enablement tools, social media and lead generation programs
• Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads copy and other content consistent with approved key messages
• Joint marketing - Identify opportunities and create marketing engagement programs that support revenue targets and drive measurable outcomes for Altair and partner organization
• Drive the execution of the integrated marketing plan with marketing and business stakeholders within Altair and on the partner's side
• Engage with Field and Solution Marketing teams for alignment with regional events and identify opportunities for partner inclusion within these field activities
• Work with marketing teams to create co-branded assets and content
• Work closely with the partner account team to strengthen partnerships and go-to-market execution
• Identify opportunities and drive partner engagement at in-person events through sponsorship, content, and promotion
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Analyzing, summarizing, and communicating marketing results, trends and recommendations
• Learn quickly, detail-oriented, time management skills and working in the fast-paced environment

What You Will Need:

Basics:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or business management
• Excellent communicator and creative thinker
• Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content for different channels (web, blog, SM, etc.)
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity
• Excellent organizational skills to manage projects with many moving parts.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
• Experience in digital marketing and/or product marketing
• Good command of social media networks and their best practices
• Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience

Preferred:

• Knowledge of the various paid marketing channels, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more)
• Experience with web site management
• Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data
• 5 to 10% travel
