Paid Search Specialist
Grammarly offers a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely. Starting in 2022, teams will meet in person every quarter in one of Grammarly’s hubs, currently in San Francisco, Vancouver, New York, and Kyiv. To ensure that teams are able to overlap in their working hours and to meet face-to-face when needed, all team members need to live within three time zones of their direct team.
Grammarly team members who will be collaborating at our San Francisco hub must be based in the United States.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join our Acquisition Marketing team. The person in this role will take on the management and optimization of our paid search program. They will own keyword and copy testing and work on long-term strategic projects for the channel, which will include audience segmentation, landing page testing, and localization strategies.
Your impact
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a highly effective Acquisition Marketing team. As Paid Search Specialist, you’ll take on the management of a best-in-class paid search program, which is a significant acquisition driver. You’ll oversee a complicated setup with many moving pieces, and you’ll have the opportunity to run a variety of tests in the search for growth wins. Coming in with a problem-solving mindset will be key to finding incremental wins and identifying opportunities for optimization.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and optimize a best-in-class paid search program.
- Prioritize, design, and implement experiments.
- Optimize and scale campaigns across Google and Microsoft search.
- Explore new strategic initiatives for our paid search advertising program.
We’re looking for someone who

- Has strong experience with Google Ads and Microsoft ad management.
- Possesses a clear handle on A/B testing and has experience running testing frameworks.
- Has an understanding of and experience with driving results through direct response advertising.

- Demonstrates advanced data-analysis skills and an understanding of web-tracking principles.
- Has the ability to develop a prioritization framework and execute on it.
- Understands marketing metrics and fundamentals and possesses easy fluency with how different metrics affect one another.
- Has experience with SA360 (this would be a plus).
