Paid Search Specialist

Homes.com (a subsidiary of CoStar Group) is a growing marketplace, reimagining the home search experience for consumers and agents alike. We're building the new Homes.com Network to efficiently connect buyers, sellers, and their agents. This includes giving agents innovative tools for growth and collaborating with their clients, as well as connecting interested buyers directly to the listing agent. 'Your Listing. CoStar Group is currently looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join our Atlanta, GA based Homes.com digital marketing team. This exciting opportunity manages a paid search budget that makes significant contributions to the growth of the Homes.com network . This position will be a member of an in-house paid search team optimizing campaigns in Google and Microsoft. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical and a creative problem solver. He/She should be comfortable with the following: working with a large keyword portfolio, keyword research and implementation, marketing terminology, organizing tasks by priority, and finding new and multiple solutions to challenges. This position reports to the Director, Paid Search.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Day-to-day management of paid search campaigns, including keyword generation, ad copy writing and testing, bid management, landing page optimization, and budget management to ensure performance goals are achieved
  • Ongoing account optimization: structure improvements, targeting improvements (geo, demographic, dayparting, keyword and URL), search query mining, keyword expansion, advanced use of negative keywords, and improvement of bid management processes and algorithms
  • Build and maintain UAC and Apple Search ads to drive app installs
  • Maintain a dashboard for reporting and ongoing analysis and meet ongoing reporting requirements to keep the team informed on performance, optimization, and overall results
  • Conduct competitive analysis, prepare reports on findings, and share the results with others
  • Develop and communicate ideas for improving strategies, practices and approaches, and ensure the successful implementation of those ideas
  • Work cross functionally with SEO and display teams, product groups, content development, brand marketing, and others to create and implement integrated campaigns that deliver business goals
  • Work closely with external partners and vendors including Google and Microsoft

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

  • 2+ years of paid search experience, including hands-on experience in the Google Ads & Microsoft Ads UI
  • Results-driven professional with exceptional detail and knowledge around metrics, specifically A/B, multi-variant testing and ROI analysis
  • Experience running UAC and Apple Search ads to drive app install metrics such as Cost-per-Install (CPI)
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Self-starting team player with ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

DESIREABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior management of a large keyword portfolio (>1M keywords) and annual paid media budget of $2+ million
  • Familiarity with SEO, paid media, social media, and analytics
  • Experience using a bid management tool (Marin, Kenshoo, SearchAds 360, etc.)
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Google Ads & Google Analytics certification
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, GoogleData Studio, or other analytics tools
  • Experience writing technical content with ability to develop messaging for sales and customer facing materials
