Marketing Strategy Director
The marketing organization plays a critical role in driving awareness, demand, revenue, and retention for SailPoint's fast growing business. As the Marketing Strategy Director, you will provide strategic planning, governance, and project management support for cross-functional initiatives which impact the marketing team and frequently, the rest of the revenue organization. You'll report directly to the CMO and work together to ensure the organization runs efficiently and effectively to reach the business goals. As a member of the marketing leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing solutions to the marketing org's most complex problems and designing business processes to materially impact the org's ability to execute as it scales globally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- As part of the marketing leadership team, you'll work with the Chief Marketing Officer and to identify and prioritize areas of impact and leverage across the marketing org.
- Lead and/or design process to project manage key initiatives and strategic projects across the org.
- Track various KPIs of marketing programs to evaluate results, distill insights and provide recommendations for performance improvement and future strategic marketing investments
- Build and refine marketing org operating system including org-wide operating cadences, reporting & accountability frameworks, communication & cascading frameworks, and people-related initiatives.
- Work with cross functional partners to drive annual and quarterly strategic & fiscal planning processes as well as business reviews
- Assist the CMO and guide the marketing org to manage headcount and budget and track spending
- Facilitate and drive the regular cadence of marketing leadership strategic meetings, off-sites and org wide all-hands
WHO YOU ARE
- A minimum of 5 years of project and/or program management experience, ideally in an enterprise software organization or a consulting firm
- Great problem solving and analytical capabilities to tackle ambiguous business problems. Well-versed in project management standards, methodologies, and best practices and have both technical and non-technical project management knowledge.
- Good understanding of marketing programs, metrics, and processes
- Well-developed ability to build and lead cross-functional and/or virtual teams.
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to see both the strategic big picture and execute against detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities, prioritize, and communicate upwardly as appropriate.
- Linear logical thinking style with a strong process orientation (formal process improvement training a plus)
