The DISH Indirect Marketing team is accountable for the strategy, growth, and development of all marketing initiatives for the DISH Authorized Retailer channel. The DISH Indirect Sales channel is made up of over 4,000 national and local sales partners. This is an exciting time to be a part of the DISH Indirect Marketing business as there is renewed focus on continuing to grow, expand and learn from the channel and focus on the local customers it supports.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Marketing Specialist provides ongoing marketing support for the Indirect Sales Channel. This includes communication with internal and external partners, and development of marketing materials to drive activation goals and meet local retailer needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Support Local Retailer Sales team and external partners (Retailers, Distributors, Vendors) with timely marketing support, learning the retailer business and understanding the nuances of local marketing strategy
- Collaborate with various sales groups to identify opportunities and define marketing strategies to support Local Retailer initiatives within growth segments
- Work with our vendor partner to maintain the day-to-day operational support of our marketing platform
- Execute strategic initiatives
- Manage creative templates, including report tagging, descriptions and expirations
- Support regular audit reviews
- Support merchandise kit planning and execution
- Process weekly co-op invoicing
Skills, Experience and Requirements
This is a high-energy role for a well-rounded business professional that can hit the ground running and drive results immediately. This role is demanding given the dynamic market landscape and new marketing challenges, and will allow the right candidate the opportunity to make a big impact in a short time as they grow a critical channel for DISH. A successful Marketing Specialist will have the following:
- Ability to influence and collaborate across various functional groups including sales, marketing, finance, and legal, as well as external partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team partnership and promote enthusiasm, desire to win the business every day
- Must be results oriented and have an understanding of metrics and data, as well as the ability to infer implications and make recommendations based on key information
- Motivated to learn new platforms like ad-builder functionality, and deliver results with a high sense of urgency
- Thrive in a fast-paced and ever changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required, 1-2 years of related experience a plus
Salary Range
Compensation: $65,000.00/Year - $94,000.00/Year
