The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to research content and consumer trends, develop content strategies, and create content for both print and digital media. This role will be responsible for creating content that represents our brand and works simultaneously with the marketing team to maintain consistency between marketing campaigns and various platforms.

This role can be based anywhere across the East Coast of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, edit, and update content for ad campaigns, social media channels, websites, blogs/articles, webinars, emails, marketing materials, and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create assets, scripts for videos, and assist with recording, editing, and producing video.
  • Research and write SEO-optimized content, use SEO tools to perform basic keyword research and topic research.
  • Work closely with the product team to develop compelling, client-focused copy about products, enhancements, launches, etc
  • Manage editorial calendar and assist with tactical campaigns for media platforms across various channels
  • Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand guidelines and plans
  • Ensure that the content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws
  • Conduct research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and contextualize findings.
  • Keep up to date with current trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, english, journalism, literature, marketing or other creative related fields
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar.
  • Specific experience in B2B SaaS required.
  • A portfolio of published work.
  • In-depth experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere). Capable of photo editing and basic video editing
  • Deep understanding of the design principles and challenges of major social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills - ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Previous experience working in a start-up or agency preferred - proptech an advantage.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite
