MARKETING AUTOMATION SPECIALIST
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Marketing Automation Specialist will work directly with the Manager of Digital Content to establish a client engagement marketing program. The program will define communications to our clients and prospects with the goal of building digital relationships and enhancing revenue for the bank.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Define the strategy, planning and execution of automated messaging inclusive of e-mail, SMS and push notifications with a strong focus on constant optimization to achieve revenue and engagement goals.
- Manage the email development process, including ideation, creative production, testing, deployment, and reporting.
- Develop reports that provide insight and visualization into email performance relative to KPIs, projections, and comparative historical performance.
- Evaluate new opportunities for customer segmentation and personalization to bring the right message to the right customer at the right time.
- Identify existing client communications such as email newsletters, promotional messages and transactional messages. Develop a strategic plan around optimizing and enhancing them as well as a recommendation on discontinuing those that are not performing.
- Define a process for qualifying marketing leads through automation to improve the quality of leads that reach our branch colleagues.
- Identify and troubleshoot delivery issues and drive rapid resolution with support of technical team and email platform service provider.
- Act as subject matter expert for evolving trends in automated message delivery inclusive of technology trends, CAN-SPAM regulations and privacy legislation.
- Partner with the email deployment team to code messages, distribute and gather data analytics
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing automation using campaign management tools and Email Service Providers (ESPs) such as ExactTarget, Marketo, Pardot or Klaviyo, to execute campaigns.
- Minimum 3 years of communication/marketing/writing experience in a corporate and/or agency environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with email template creation, A/B and multivariate testing, data ingestion, and extraction
Skills and Knowledge
- Involvement with email template creation, A/B and multivariate testing, data ingestion, and extraction
- Strong communications skills to convey results and optimizations to digital content manager and email developers
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated aptitude for running and evaluating experiments that improve key metrics
- Passionate about numbers with strong analytical skills; you're at home among dashboards, weekly reports, and data visualizations
- Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and enjoys problem-solving
- Interest in financial services and consumer behavior
