Brief Overview

As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of consumer engagement campaigns across a portfolio of health plan and employer clients. In addition, you’ll act as the marketing lead for a unique book of clients – managing the relationship with Amwell’s engagement team, strategizing with clients to develop a marketing plan and put that plan into action.

Within this position you will provide key support to the health plan commercialization team through contributions to product marketing initiatives. Collaborating with a cross-functional team of internal stakeholders and external partners to bring new services to market and help our clients reach and exceed the goals they have for their virtual care solutions. The Marketing Associate has an opportunity to work with national employers and health plans and become a subject matter expert in consumer marketing for digital health.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as lead digital health engagement expert for unique set of Amwell Health Plan clients. Participate in regular client meetings via video conference, manage client calls and handle all action items in a timely manner.
  • Support planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across your health plan book of business while also supporting more senior members of the team with execution needs.
  • Support health plan commercialization team through developing necessary materials and go to market plans to support the launch of new and existing products.
  • Develop deep understanding of the health plan and employer verticals.
  • Keep a pulse on emerging telehealth industry trends and consumer engagement best practices.
  • Synthesize, analyze and translate consumer engagement campaign data into a digestible story for clients that illustrate campaign performance and draw actionable insights to share with clients.
  • Develop slides and other collateral for client and internal presentations.
  • Support the commercialization of new products and programs to the health plan market through developing new engagement tools and campaigns that drive consumer adoption.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience with marketing technologies a plus (automation, tracking and analytics, etc.).
  • Command of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work individually as well as with a broad team of people to achieve an end goal.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and self-sufficiently and while working with remote team members and remote cross function teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift frequently.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally with a concentration in marketing, communications or business.
