Position Summary:
S&P Global is seeking an experienced, driven Internal Marketing Lead, who will report to the Director of Marketing for our business line. This role will be responsible for building and owning an internal communications and marketing plan for our business division to drive internal awareness and engagement around strategy, values, and culture through multiple communications vehicles and tactics.
Duties & Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to build an internal communications plan in line with our higher-level marketing strategy for a 1000+ person business division including cross channel communication (email, intranet, townhalls, newsletters etc) and awareness initiatives
  • Manage and own our intranet site, ensuring colleagues cross-divisionally understand and have visibility into our business line's strategic progress and opportunities
  • Advocate for the business line's work and progress cross functionally through transparent communication and consistent updates
  • Enable clear business communications and clarity of direction for employees, driving increased employee satisfaction and retention, and affirming integrity of leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and consultative partner of the business, coaching and providing guidance to managers, supervisors, and senior leaders on communication strategies


  • Manage Town Halls and other business update forums
  • Coordinate, implement and manage a formal, aligned communications cadence and calendar of events, working collaboratively with HR, Corp Comms, and other cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring alignment with the larger organization


Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience in communications, public relations, marketing or journalism


  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with a focus on clear, transparent and consistent communications and an ability to thrive in high-paced environments
  • Strong ability to distill information to find common threads between projects, and are energized by juggling priorities.
  • Experience developing compelling executive communications and partnering with executive leaders
  • Comfort and ease in interfacing with senior level executives and leaders across the organization (Has done work that guides and influences senior stakeholders)
  • Experience communicating to a highly distributed workforce, hybrid work experience a plus


  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link communications with business objectives
