You’ve been described as a dynamic, proactive, and decisive professional who exhibits business process knowledge, possesses a broad-based operational perspective, and provides solutions for strategic issues. You understand how to connect strategy and operations - both processes and marketing systems, to drive outsized impact. Leading and influencing other leaders comes naturally to you, and you enjoy all types of collaboration.
What skills do I need?
- 6+ years of relevant experience in a Marketing or Business Strategy Role
- Strong familiarity with marketing and sales technology
- Excellent research, project leadership, and data analysis skills
- Unyielding focus on quality results (analyses and deliverables)
- Success and comfort operating in an unstructured environment and leading through ambiguity
- Ability to build strong relationships and interact with all levels of the company, including executives and senior leadership
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to dive into detail when needed
Key Responsibilities:
We're looking for a sharp, analytical thinker who is comfortable creating structure and paving paths through ambiguity to meet ambitious growth objectives. The Marketing Operations Lead & Chief of Staff will have the ability to multi-task and deliver on several projects in a fast-paced, high-visibility setting. This role will require significant engagement with leaders across the Marketing & Sales Team and broader organization.
- Manage an external marketing operations agency, and a lead and grow a high-performing internal team.
- Lead program management, working across the marketing leadership team on strategic initiatives, process development, and critical cross functional projects
- Run marketing analytics and marketing technology strategy - designing reporting, ensuring accuracy and best-in-clas orchestration
- Develop marketing model and budget in collaboration with the Head of Marketing, Commercial leaders, GTM Ops and finance teams.
- Own ongoing updates and analysis on performance to goal and iterations on the model
- Directs leadership and operational communications to key audiences and stakeholders, as well as writes and prepares business-wide communications
- Prepares and consolidates leadership dashboards and reports, guides development reporting requirements in line with marketing goals and objectives
- Create and lead the overall marketing operations vision and strategy with the ability to communicate impact to the business.
- Build and maintain the marketing technology stack, with a focus on constant optimization and improvement to meet the needs of the business.
- Develop operational processes for the marketing operations function and implement processes for handling new projects and requests.
