The Role

As Director of Marketing Operations, you’ll focus on enabling our marketing organization across our comprehensive Food for Work platform--including individual customer marketing, account based marketing and catering partner marketing. You’ll lead and build a team of marketing operations professionals responsible for SaaS product management across web, B2B marketing, B2C marketing, Adtech and marketing resource management and project management. You’ll be at the forefront of our blended B2B and B2C go-to-market model and responsible for enabling our marketers to move fast across multiple technologies and platforms.

  • Build and lead a strong Marketing Operations team, consisting of B2B and B2C Marketing Automation, Web Operations and Ad Operations managers and specialists, in the execution of their duties and ensure constant honing of their skills and readying them for continued scalability and growth 
  • Support B2B marketing and sales teams at the early stages of defining and evolving processes that create more sophisticated working relationships, customer experiences and automations
  • Specialize in building consistent, coordinated processes across the entire Marketing department that connect strategy and execution to make us more efficient and successful (includes expertise in program, project, resource management and planning)
  • Own technology operations across the entire marketing tech stack including tools such as: Hubspot, Iterable, Wordpress, Monday.com, Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, and future CDP
  • Democratize the use of technology, so all marketers can move with speed and make things happen 
  • Lead the collaboration between Marketing/Marketing Ops and Sales/Sales Ops
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing Technology to build the marketing technology roadmap, ensuring marketing technology is evaluated, selected, implemented, and customized to meet the needs of the marketing department
  • Support the annual planning cycle and quarterly planning process to ensure all activities and priorities within teams are aligned from a strategic and effectiveness basis
  • Evolve the administration of the marketing budget and ensure marketing costs are tracked correctly
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to ensure the marketing department can correctly report on the
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies, recommending approaches to enhance marketing operations
  • Support overall marketing team engagement, workflow processes and operationalize the strategy across all marketing verticals 
  • The use of Monday.com and other planning tools to ensure resources are being used against the activities that provide the greatest return on investment or are aligned to the strategic priorities of the business

:

  • 10+ years of marketing operations experience with a B2B, B2C, and E-commerce perspective, with a strong emphasis on B2B marketing operations
  • Have proven experience leading and coaching high-performing teams. You should be ready and able to go deep with any of your team members, while keeping strategic and business goals a top priority
  • Experience implementing, owning and managing marketing efficiency tools and processes including project management, digital asset management and marketing resource management 
  • Be customer obsessed. You’ll learn everything there is to know about the needs of your internal stakeholders partners and figure out how to best partner with them
  • Be kind, adaptable, and intellectually curious
