About the Role

GoodRx is seeking a Martech Lead to develop the vision and execution of technology platforms and integrations that directly enable the CRM program roadmap.


Reporting to the VP, CRM & Marketing Automation, you will work with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and execute a CRM technical roadmap, backlog, project prioritization framework, vendor selection criteria/process, and necessary governance and standards. In addition, you will provide day to day expertise and technical support for key CRM platforms and integrations. This role will also be a key stakeholder in shaping our ongoing vision for CRM as a transformational opportunity for GoodRx in years to come.


We are seeking individuals with deep experience in technology, development, and delivery for marketing teams. You excel at gathering stakeholder requirements, identifying the root problem to be solved, and transforming these needs into user stories for the engineering team(s). You will hit the ground running in our fast-paced and growing business, where you'll need to effectively balance business requirements with strategic initiatives, provide leadership, and manage the execution for the CRM Martech stack.


The leader in this role will proactively develop a deep understanding of business goals, marketing needs, and technological capabilities to shape the vision of our CRM technology and develop and support the implementation of a roadmap that enables our marketing teams to meet or exceed their goals. You will work closely with a variety of teams in addition to the marketing team as your core customer including product, business intelligence, engineering, data platforms, and customer service. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an internal CRM platform subject matter expert to unlock value from the tech stack.
  • Track direct competitors and leverage best in class benchmarks in the broader industry to identify capability gaps and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketers, product teams, engineering teams and development communities to define roadmap, architecture, business requirements and integration plan to support overall CRM mission.
  • Continuously stay abreast of the MarTech ecosystem of third party solutions and platform providers.
  • Assess, perform cost-benefit and buy vs build analysis, develop recommendations, business cases and integration plans for any recommended third party technology. 
  • Develop use-cases, prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value and are aligned with product/marketing strategy and larger business needs.
  • Provide day to day technical support and expertise to troubleshoot production issues and manage resolution of issues.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to communicate backlog status and ensure transparency between development teams (internal and external) and marketing stakeholders to set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Define standards, practices and governance models that enable underlying technologies to maximize business value and scale.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in a technical platform owner role, specifically focused on marketing technologies and adoption with marketing practitioners.
  • 7+ years specifically assessing, integrating, managing, and scaling marketing automation platforms within complex enterprise organizations (Ex: Braze, iterable, Marketo, Unica/HCL, SalesForce marketing Cloud, et al) 
  • Expertise and hands on experience with Braze, Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing always-on, multi-channel campaigns, demonstrating proficiency in the concepts of customer journey mapping, personalization, and marketing experimentation
  • Proven ability to manage and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships across multiple teams (product, BI, data, design, engineering etc.) and an ability to coordinate timely feedback and approvals
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate performance metrics into actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to assess the magnitude of change in business process, operating model and policies to ensure successful technology outcomes
