What You Need To Know

Overview

The Digital Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Shaw-Ross' brands Instagram posts for the SGWS Instagram page - choose and edit photos, create content to be approved by brand managers and submit to SGWS each month
  • Maintain Shaw-Ross' digital merchandising on SG Proof B2B E-Commerce Website -- weekly checks of SG Proof to ensure that Shaw-Ross' brands are up to date with correct images, information, etc.
  • Maintain Shaw-Ross' website - monthly checks of the website to ensure that content is up to date, upload new lifestyle images where needed, add in any additional scores or press received for brands
  • Maintain digital merchandising on CMS platform, Syndigo
  • Assist at any events as needed to capture social content on behalf of brands
  • Facilitate and manage social media advertising campaigns as needed
  • Maintain & oversee the Shaw-Ross' Instagram page once launched to ensure quality photos and content across all Shaw-Ross' brands
  • Assist in office tasks such as sample requests, POS requests, etc. as needed

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities with an appropriate sense of what is most important and plan with an appropriate and realistic sense of the time demand involved.

  • Demonstrate respect and value contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree program (recent graduates considered)
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop and other content creation tools
  • Graphic Design skills to produce high-quality, trendy content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Syndigo, etc.
  • Experience in Social Media Management
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in creating pivot tables, develop charts, and complex formulas
  • Experience working in web communications, social media marketing, and analysis or other related work



Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
