The Paid Media Team Manager is responsible for managing a team that develops and executes the strategy for all paid search and paid social clients. While candidates should possess experience creating and optimizing paid media campaigns, the primary responsibility for this role is high-level strategic guidance and people management: hiring, training, motivating, and mentoring the team. This role will also be heavily involved in the sales process and accountable for continuously creating systems and processes that allow LMG's Paid Media team to scale.

To be successful this person will need to: delegate, provide feedback, identify growth opportunities, and possess a growth mindset. They will be driven by achieving goals, teaching others, and continuous improvement.


  • Account Support
    • Develop new templates and processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality of work delivered; continually re-assess and revise old templates and processes as needed
    • Provide high-level strategic guidance to ensure we deliver the most value with the hours and resources we have; leading and supporting accounts directly as needed
    • Manage team account assignments and bandwidth
    • Talent Management; promotions, terminations, hires, training opportunities
    • Identify and quarterly performance evaluations
    • Elevate the teams' technical skillset
    Team Growth
    • Join sales pitches, update sales materials as needed, review scopes of work
    • Identify opportunities for expanded service offerings
    • Work with team members to develop case studies, gain client testimonials, and apply for awards to grow a library of assets for sales and increase the "conversion rate" of pitches, RFPs, and the Logical website.
    • Ability to provide honest, constructive feedback in a tactful way to team members on every aspect of their role, from technical capabilities to professional standards and beyond
    • Experience in identifying and presenting opportunities to prospects for business development purposes and making recommendations on scoping.
    • Proficient in paid search, paid social and tracking platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
    • Comfortable acting as high level strategic and technical support on 50+ accounts
    • Experience identifying opportunities for and developing process improvement
    • Strong ability to delegate
    • Skilled in training and developing junior team members
    • 4+ years experience in digital media with at least 1 year in an agency environment
