About the role

We are looking for a hands-on technical product marketer with a strong interest in data science, machine learning, and AI. This person will work cross-functionally to strategize, develop, and drive programs, content, and tactics to help showcase the value of our Verta to data science and machine learning teams.

This includes driving messaging, content creation, competitive analysis, and sales enablement. This role also partners closely with our Sales and Product Management teams on customer needs and product roadmaps. This role is remote and is ideal for someone that can execute while driving strategy, and ideally has experience and expertise in data science, machine learning, AI, and/or MLOps.

What you'll do

• Develop a deep understanding of our target market, including buyer personas, key use cases, and customer needs
• Work closely with Product Management to become one of their go-to’s for Verta product expertise
• Interact with the Verta Community and the data science and machine learning community generally
• Create content and collateral (including white papers, datasheets, web copy, social media copy, presentations, demo scripts, case studies, etc.)

About You

• 2+ years of technical marketing (or related) experience
• Able to distill complex information into clear, meaningful insights and messaging
• Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Stand out verbal and written communication skills
• Desire and drive to help others, especially within the Verta Community
• Ability and desire to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate across teams
• High standards for quality and a passion for data science, machine learning, and AI
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with high accountability
• Previous start-up experience is a huge plus
• Previous experience with machine learning or data science is a huge plus
