Human Interest is rapidly scaling and we need an experienced growth marketing leader to help us deliver our offering to a massive audience of SMBs that have been underserved by legacy 401(k) providers. 

Reporting to the Director, Growth and Performance, we’re looking for a progressive, forward-thinking, passionate marketing professional who lives and breathes a growth mindset that wants to be part of an agile marketing team that is redefining how growth can be accelerated throughout the organization. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will help manage our Paid Media investments across Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, Video, Affiliates, and other channels to help drive acquisition and engagement KPIs. Our preference is for someone who has helped explore, lead, and take charge of innovative marketing channels such as audio, video, and streaming services to help add to our current capabilities, alongside more mainstream digital channels as well. Working alongside your colleagues in growth marketing, you will help build the roadmap for investment in channels and help manage a large media budget that will accelerate customer growth with SMBs, building campaigns that are tailored to the right audiences. This role is both strategic and execution-focused, requiring the skillset to help build out our long-term vision for channel investment along with helping manage the day-to-day operations in running multiple campaigns with a keen eye towards CAC costs and KPIs. You’re the right fit for this role if you are passionate about accelerating revenue, comfortable rolling up your sleeves and have a strong bias to insight-driven action. There is ample opportunity to help scale acquisition in a rapidly growing company, and we want you to help lead it. 

What you get to do every day

  • Effectively help manage and own acquisition campaigns across Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, Video and Affiliate channels, leading prioritization and experimentation of current and new channels that will help drive growth across Human Interest 
  • Own campaign development, setup, QA, and reporting across channels, working closely with data teams to report on campaign performance, progress, and key learnings to unlock additional opportunities and impact on the business
  • Align closely with the entire growth marketing team to accelerate team goals in areas of conversion rate optimization, landing page development, B2B campaigns, and SDR partnership to ensure sales and marketing alignment
  • Partner with Content, Customer, and Product Marketing teams to align messaging to user personas and most impactful target audiences, helping scale our content reach
  • Constantly optimize segments, audiences, messaging, and creatives to help meet growth goals
  • Guide the roadmap for the adtech/media tools needed to pursuit additional channels and acquisition goals

What you bring to the role

  • 5+ years of performance marketing experience across paid acquisition channels, with a track record of success in optimizing current channels and a data-driven approach to exploring new media opportunities
  • High performance across digital marketing (SEO, SEM, Display, Retargeting, Video, Paid Social, Affiliates) & growth analytics
  • Experience working with internal and external creative teams and agencies to help optimize paid media programs and build a content roadmap
  • Video production and building video marketing strategies, in addition to a record of being at the cutting edge of creative marketing channels (Audio, Video, Streaming, etc.), preferred
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable using analytics, ad tech, and other tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio, Looker, etc..) to identify channel opportunities, monitor performance, and report on progress. Bonus points for being comfortable with marketing automation tools such as Marketo and CRMs like Salesforce in understanding lead flow
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and stakeholder management skills able to present to leadership on results of paid channel performance
  • A growth mindset that values learning and action over perfection, and appreciates teams that follow the values of shared ownership and transparency
  • A strong foundation in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) marketing with a focus on digital marketing and product disciplines. Bonus points for experience or familiarity with working with product teams, B2B, and helping build a ‘culture of experimentation across multiple teams and working through challenges related to regulated industries (Finance)
  • Comfortable working in an agile, cross-functional environment
