Digital Marketing Manager
Kinsa is on a mission to stop the spread of infectious illness through early detection and early response. Kinsa’s mission has never been more important or more relevant than it is right now. Our real-time map of illness has been featured in the New York Times, on Rachel Maddow, CNBC, FOX News, The Economist, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah etc. Turn on the TV, open the paper… We’re making headlines bringing our illness data and insight to the fight. We’ve done this by successfully transforming the first device you grab when sickness strikes - the thermometer - into a sensor to detect when and where illness is rising, and communicate with those who have just fallen ill.
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to help us across our digital marketing efforts, including efficiently acquiring new users and helping grow Kinsa’s direct, retail, and ecommerce thermometer sales, acquiring school applications and parent participants of our flagship national FLUency school health program, executing brand awareness campaigns using Digital Out of Home Media, and deploying digital to support enterprise sales efforts, as needed. We are searching for a “utility player” who loves to craft strategy and execute on tactics to drive sales, increase website traffic, and build brand awareness to achieve business results.
What you’ll do:
Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy in support of driving thermometer sales.
Curate the best holistic communications journey with Product team across a variety of lifecycle stages, from early engagement to loyalty and at-risk to ensure sales lead to active user.
Support strategy development for paid search, social and other digital investments beyond thermometer sales as needed.
Grow thermometer sales and build brand awareness by planning and executing campaigns using existing and new channels, including:
○ Amazon Ads
○ Criteo Sponsored Products
○ SEM (Google Ads/ Microsoft Ads)
○ SEO
○ Paid Social (FB, IG, Pinterest, YouTube)
○ Display
○ Affiliate
○ Social Influencer Programs
● Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
● Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
● Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, test and optimize creative, copy, audience targeting, and landing pages
● Identify trends and insights and use them to optimize spend and performance
● Partner with complementary brands to cross-promote; oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects
● Manage marketing partnerships and vendor relationships
● Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices
You have:
● 5-7+ years of relevant experience in a marketing role at a fast-growing startup
● Strong eCommerce and Amazon Advertising console experience is a must
● Expertise executing campaigns across Amazon Ads, Criteo Sponsored Products, paid search (Google Ads/ Microsoft Ads), paid social (FB, Instagram, YouTube), display, affiliate, and identifying and testing new channels
● Deep understanding of the technical aspects of paid social, SEM and SEO, content optimization, and analytics
● Experience in campaign performance optimization and creative testing
● Experience in creating customer journeys to drive early engagement, ongoing engagement and retention
