Smule has the bold mission of connecting the world through music. We make popular music apps including social singing app Smule, AutoRap, and Magic Piano. We’re proud to have a thriving global community of many millions of people and are a top 10 grossing music app in the US and in many markets around the world. We provide a platform for aspiring recording artists, karaoke fans, and shower singers to express themselves creatively and we empower them to sing with friends and people across the globe - all within a supportive, caring community. We work with top artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson, and many others to record on Smule and give their fans the unique opportunity to sing the songs they love side-by-side with the artists who made them.
Our team is growing and we’re looking for a talented Associate Marketing Manager to jump in and make an immediate impact to further our mission to connect the world through music.
In this role you will…
- Write creative briefs and work closely with our internal creative team to develop campaigns and marketing assets.
- Work with our partners at Google Play and the Apple App Store to execute exciting promotions in the app ecosystems.
- Develop copy that goes directly into our product and marketing materials.
- Assist in marketing research to better understand our users and help translate those learnings into brand strategy.
- Contribute to and learn from a world-class cross-functional team across community, social, UA, creative, partnerships, product and more.
- Help develop and execute breakthrough 360-marketing campaigns for the brand.

Qualifications
We want someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing or communications)
- 2-3 years of marketing or content strategy experience
- Excellent visionary, strategic and courageous leadership skills
- Strengths with strategic and analytical thinking
- A pulse on pop culture and marketing trends
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Bonus if you have content strategy experience on the product side
- Bonus if you have experience marketing to Gen Z or prior app marketing experience
