Associate Brand Manager, Animal Health Parasiticides
Job Description
Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.
The Parasiticide Consumer Brand Specialist is responsible for executing specific portion of the Parasiticide portfolio at our company's Animal Health. They will also be responsible for executing, developing and managing brand's marketing and communication including advertising, public relations, trade programs and professional marketing.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Be the brand steward for specific portions of the Parasiticide portfolio.
- Develop an annual strategic consumer marketing plan including campaign development, consumer media and public relations. Execute the plan working with agencies
- Develop all consumer brand communications and allocation of spending. Manage budget on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with the Parasiticide team to develop programs to drive sales and market share.
- Utilize knowledge of the media market, consumer habits and customer segmentation to develop the strongest potential plans and programs to grow sales and profits.
- Liaise with Global Marketing to leverage global marketing strategies.
- Work cross functionally at our company's Animal Health and agencies to revamp consumer and professional websites implementing best practices
- Work cross-functionally in partnership with the Digital team.
- Work with market research to gain greater understanding of consumers, how they view our products and react to marketing campaign
- Drive search marketing excellence through SEO content and paid search strategies
- Execute personalized email marketing campaigns against multiple consumer and professional target groups
The ideal candidate will:
- Have digital fluency, passion and ability to quickly learn new systems, digital tools and working processes
- Be able to show contributions to brand strategy development and thinking
- Demonstrate first-hand experience in working with Market Research findings and reports
- Meticulous follow-up and communication with key stakeholders through all stages of project planning
- Working knowledge/experience with VEEVA PromoMats is preferred
Education Minimum Requirement:
- BA/BS degree
Required Experience and Skills:
- 3 years of agency and/or pharmaceutical experience.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening skills) and interpersonal skills
- Be able to operate under pressure
- Solid project management skills
- Sound understanding of the principles of marketing
- Ability to manage a campaign budget
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player - works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint including customized presentations
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and website KPI reporting
