The Marketing Support Specialist is a role within the marketing team and the Local Performance Marketing Team. The Marketing Support Specialist will report to the Marketing Support Manager. The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of marketing tactics and tools, be driven, have an aptitude for learning and demonstrate superior customer service skills.
This position provides effective evaluation of franchise owner needs and, in all cases, uses good judgment and timeliness in responding to and resolving each issue to the franchisees’ satisfaction. Resolution includes but is not limited to the following: Identify, research, and resolves problems, timely response to telephone calls and email requests for support. The position also requires accurate documentation and monitoring of the franchise owner inquiry to ensure a timely resolution.

As an Marketing Support Specialist on the Marketing Squad team, a typical day for you will include:
- Build a strong working knowledge of internal and external marketing platforms and systems.
- Support franchise owners with product training, knowledge, and expertise.
- Respond to support requests via phone or email, and sometimes with video call.
- Keep accurate records of all support requests, internal research and applied resolutions using the appropriate ticketing system.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or a shared services environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial applications, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with reporting, data validation, and financial analysis.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot system or process issues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience with financial systems such as Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, or similar platforms.
- Experience partnering with Information Systems (IS) teams on troubleshooting, system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementations, or process automation.
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT.
