Job Summary

 

To support the Manager, Corporate Relations in the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies for Maritime Life and Maritime General.

The incumbent will be responsible for leading brand and campaign initiatives, managing marketing activities across digital and traditional platforms, monitoring campaign performance and supporting business growth objectives through strategic marketing execution.

The role also provides support for corporate brand initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities and responsible business programmes across The Maritime Financial Group.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  1. Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for Maritime Life and Maritime General in alignment with organisational objectives.
  2. Support the development of annual marketing plans, budgets, campaign calendars and strategic initiatives.
  3. Manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to support brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement objectives.
  4. Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, providing recommendations for optimisation and improvement.
  5. Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, ensuring adherence to approved brand standards and messaging.
  6. Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing content across websites, social media platforms, email marketing and other communication channels.
  7. Manage and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, relevance and alignment with marketing objectives.
  8. Develop and oversee monthly content calendars and campaign schedules across all relevant platforms.
  9. Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  10. Assist with the development of brochures, promotional materials, presentations and branded collateral.
  11. Support digital marketing initiatives, including paid advertising campaigns, marketing automation and sales funnel optimisation.
  12. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  13. Support communication initiatives with agents and other stakeholders, including product updates, campaign communications and operational notices.
  14. Provide support for corporate events, sponsorships, responsible business initiatives and other organisational activities as required.
  15. Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by Management.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

 

  1. Coordinate the development and distribution of Annual Awards artwork, serving as the liaison between the Career Agency Development, Human Relations and Training Units.
  2. Assist with the review and approval of artwork developed by Sales Representatives to ensure alignment with brand standards and organisational guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Minimum 5 CSEC passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2  in Mathematics and English A and

6 CAPE passes (full certificate) or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate and 

Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Communications, Business Management or related field along with Certification in Digital Marketing or related discipline.

Master's Degree in Marketing or Business Management is an asset, 

Experience

Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years’ experience in marketing, brand management or campaign execution.

Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Experience in digital marketing, campaign analytics and content management.

Experience within financial services or insurance would be considered an asset.
