Description

In full compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the development of the annual Marketing Plan and executing marketing initiatives in alignment with the strategic objectives of the Atlantic Federal Credit Union. The Marketing Specialist will help drive Member acquisition, Member retention, community relations and brand awareness/recognition. The Marketing Specialist will actively participate in supporting deposit and loan growth in conformity with NCUA regulations as well as Credit Union policies and procedures. Specifically, the Marketing Specialist will:

  • Champion brand values and guidelines.·
  • Assist in the development of an annual Marketing Plan, including a media schedule and other marketing tactics with key performance indicators (KPIs) aligning with the strategic objectives of the Credit Union.
  • Develop strategic, optimized and differentiated sales collateral and digital content
  • Prepare and maintain presentation materials and templates for Executive and Credit Union-wide presentations.
  • Ensure marketing content is reviewed for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the Credit Union’s social media presence, including posting with appropriate frequency and voice
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report data and KPIs using Integrator Advance and analytics platforms
  • Actively participate in ongoing efforts to continually improve Member service.
  • Keep abreast of current NCUA, CFPB, and State/Federal regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain continued communication with Member-facing business units to ensure marketing priorities are aligned with departmental goals and marketing initiatives are being executed.
  • Maintain professional, well-developed communication, and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with Members, employees, and vendors on Credit Union related matters.

Requirements

  • At least two years’ experience in a financial institution with similar job functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written communications, active listening, positive attitude, deportment).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
