About the Role:

LMArena is seeking a variety of Marketing roles to help grow and engage the community that powers real-world AI evaluation. You’ll play a key role in shaping how LMArena shows up in the world, building awareness, trust, and participation across developers, researchers, and everyday users alike. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, growth, and ecosystem-building. You’ll translate product updates, research insights, and community contributions into campaigns that inform, excite, and activate.

We’re still nimble so you’ll work closely with the founding team to develop marketing strategies, coordinate announcements, and identify opportunities to amplify our work. From launching new features to crafting explainers about the leaderboard, your work will help more people understand, and shape, the future of AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across channels (social, blog, web, email) to drive awareness and community participation

  • Collaborate with product, research, and design teams to translate updates and insights into clear, engaging narratives

  • Develop and manage content that informs and excites users—from product explainers to community spotlights

  • Support launch coordination, live announcements, and engagement across Discord and other community spaces

  • Help evolve our brand voice, positioning, and messaging as we scale

  • Track performance metrics and user sentiment to iterate on strategy and content

  • Identify ecosystem partners, contributors, and creators who can help extend LMArena’s reach

  • Ensure marketing efforts stay aligned with our values: openness, rigor, and community trust

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus in one or more areas: content, product marketing, growth, community, or brand

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging

  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing marketing campaigns, launches, or content initiatives

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, research, design, and engineering teams

  • Experience managing projects across multiple channels and formats (e.g. social, web, email, blog, video)

  • A data-informed mindset, you track what works, iterate quickly, and care about impact

  • Interest in AI, emerging technology, and open science—or a desire to learn quickly and engage deeply

  • Creative, collaborative, and proactive, able to drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced startup environment

What we offer:

  • The cash compensation for this position in the market is 150k-200k. Actual compensation will depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and candidate location.
