About This Role
The Marketing & Market Access Trainee is responsible for understanding and learning about Marketing programs targeted towards physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, as well as supporting the development of Value & Access (V&A) programs aimed at hospital pharmacists. Furthermore, he/she will enhance self-skills by actively contributing to the design and delivery of impactful marketing strategies and aligned, innovative tactical programs, all within a defined budget for a designated set of products. In addition, the trainee will support the implementation of initiatives and contribute to maximizing the V&A strategy.
Moreover, the trainee will recognize the value of external stakeholders by assisting in the development of close relationships and collaborative projects with Key Opinion Leaders across both MS and Rare Diseases areas. Similarly, he/she will comprehend the importance of effective communication with the field force, driving business results by enhancing their performance through the implementation of tactical plans.
Additionally, the role involves providing full support for the omnichannel strategy across all brands, ensuring the seamless delivery of operational requirements. Lastly, the trainee will master Biogen's key management software systems and contribute to the successful execution of all related activities.
What You'll Do
- Acquire knowledge on strategic market planning analysis by learning how to identify foreseeable threats to avoid and opportunities to pursue, environmental analysis, customers engagement, product features on which the business will compete, market segmentation and positioning analysis
- Learn how to take the strategy into tactics through campaigns, marketing materials, national projects. Coordinate events at congresses and other meetings. Manages the annual budget according to guidance and affiliate objectives.
- Provide full support on the implementation of business activities by mastering the internal systems and the Compliance requirements. Make a close collaboration with the field force by identifying and delivering added value to their daily needs.
- Collaborate on the definition and implementation of the omnichannel activities across all brands (eg: Biogen Linc contents, VAEs, Broadcast emails, field force materials, etc) and learn how the digital strategy is implemented
- Understand the V&A concepts and contribute to the development of V&A strategies for new and existing therapies. Support the preparation of value dossiers and other V&A field materials and acquire knowledge on this field!
- Support the coordination of V&A events at Congresses and other meetings. Support the management of the V&A annual budget according to guidance and affiliate objectives.

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences, Marketing or other relevant area.
- At least 1 year of experience on sales or marketing management preferably in the Neurology/CNS field.
- Experience or ability to learn CRM analysis and omnichannel activity implementation.
- Hands-on experience or aptitude for using digital tools like CRM systems, Veeva, and omnichannel platforms.
- Ability to perform regular CRM analysis and track performance metrics to inform strategies.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Medical, and V&A teams.
- Analytical mindset to identify, propose, and implement innovative solutions in marketing and digital strategy.
- Commitment to acquiring knowledge in marketing, omnichannel strategies, and pharmaceutical brand management.
