About Karri

Karri is one of South Africa’s most beloved school payment apps, used by hundreds of thousands of parents to make school payments fast, simple and safe.

We’ve recently launched the Karri Card: South Africa’s safest youth bank card. Unlike most youth cards (which are just adult cards with your kid’s name on them), the Karri Card is designed to keep children safe while building healthy money habits.

With daily spending limits, blocked adult merchants, and multi-parent control, it’s the only card of its kind in the country. And we're currently rolling it out nationwide, which is what you'll play a critical role in.

The role:

We're looking for a Marketing Manager with a strong graphic design background to take ownership of our visual communications. You'll work closely with our Marketing Strategist to bring campaigns to life, especially on social media, email and our website.

What you'll do:

• Create and execute marketing campaigns that drive website traffic, generate leads, and grow product adoption.
• Design beautiful, effective marketing assets for parents and schools (including emails, social posts, flyers, web banners, and more)
• Build and maintain website pages using Webflow (it’s intuitive and we’ll support your upskilling through Webflow Academy).
• Support and execute social media strategy for the Karri Card, working closely with the Marketing Strategist to develop creative, engaging content.
• Coordinate school and school-facing email marketing, from design to delivery.
• Help develop campaign messaging and branding that speaks to our audiences in a fresh, human way.
