We're an award-winning pure-play testing Consultancy, focused in quality engineering on a mission to become the UK's #1.

What we’re looking for…

We’re looking for people who let curiosity and interest lead them. We don't expect to have a team of "experts". What we do expect, is for #Team2i to be...

  • Inquisitive
  • Open to challenge
  • Taking initiative
  • Accountable

What you’ll be doing...

In 2025, we hope to establish ourselves as the leading QAT (Quality Assurance and Testing) partner in the UK. Our marketing strategy is fundamental to making this happen. Your role as Marketing Manager will involve working closely with our fractional CMO, senior leadership team, and external agencies (PR and web) to execute our carefully crafted 2i marketing strategy. You'll manage a small team of two to deliver marketing activities across our core channels whilst having the support and mentorship of our CMO. This role requires hands-on execution to manage the day-to-day marketing planning and operations to ensure all activities align with our strategic goals.

The marketing strategy has specifically been designed to accelerate 2i’s growth trajectory, built on the following pillars:

  • Strategic market expansion
  • Enhanced brand positioning
  • Data-driven lead generation
  • Technology foundation
  • Multi-channel engagement strategy
  • Partnership ecosystem development

With a goal of achieving £100million+ in revenue for 2026-2028, our marketing strategy will establish 2i as a trusted brand, generate high-quality leads for sales conversion and build a scalable foundation for long-term growth.

Your Responsibilities…

  • Execute the marketing plan as developed with the fractional CMO and senior leadership
  • Manage, mentor and grow the marketing team – currently made up of a Digital Content Specialist and Marketing Executive
  • Coordinate with external agencies (PR, SEO, web) to ensure aligned delivery
  • Be a brand ambassador for 2i, ensuring high-quality assets and messaging in line with our communication strategy
  • Own and optimise key marketing assets including the website UX, email campaigns, and social channels
  • Oversee digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google PPC, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  • Work with our PR agency to amplify our thought leadership content for target personas
  • Plan and manage event participation, from logistics to execution
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify market opportunities
  • Review all marketing materials for quality, consistency, and effectiveness
  • Report on marketing performance metrics to senior stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Budget management – managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively

 Experience Required:

  • Marketing experience (2+ years) in a service focused B2B environment
  • Working understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media email marketing) and website UX best practices
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into compelling marketing messages
  • Interest in marketing KPIs and analytics for performance tracking and reporting
  • Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek input
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in written communications
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about new sectors or technologies
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (Salesforce is advantageous)

What we can offer you...

  • Career development pathways tailored for your personal and professional learning within 2i, giving clear direction for your career with us
  • 26 days of annual leave + the option to buy and sell holiday (up to 5 days)
  • Private Health Care + access to other mental health and wellbeing services including Gym Memberships, Counselling, Cycle to Work Schemes + many more
  • Individual and Company related performance bonus
  • Flexible working in a hybrid environment across the UK

What if you are a partial fit?

Curious? We want to hear from you!

We don’t believe in the “perfect” hire. What we do believe in is the benefits of creating a team built of different perspectives, backgrounds, career paths and ways of working. What we value most are team players who are eager to take their growth into their own hands and utilise the people around them.

What We Do

Whoever said 'don't sweat the small stuff' never worked in software development. In this business, we know it's the small stuff that can be your downfall: costing millions to put right, damaging reputations, and setting your project back months. With this much at stake, there is simply no room for error. And that's where we come in. We have the scale, the expertise, and the rigorous attention to detail to hunt down any and all issues before they become issues, allowing you to focus on the bigger picture and ensuring your software is delivered on time, on budget and working exactly as it should
