As a Marketing Manager, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in delivering the US SPS strategic marketing plan.
What’s the role?
Manage and deliver the US SPS strategic marketing plan – working within US SPS marketing team. Alignment of the plan, including objectives and tactical activities, with the US SPS commercial business plan including revenue, share and profitability targets.
Sound Interesting? Here’s what you’ll do:
- Marketing support for the US SPS commercial team to maximize market share, revenue, profitability and product life cycle of DORC product range in the US.

Manage the US SPS marketing budget – including actuals vs budget analysis for all initiatives

Executing the US Marketing Strategy and operational plans. Set objectives and KPI’s.

Working with KOL Management team to manage the USA KOL (Key Opinion Leader) and AB (Advisory board) program and act as DORC’s representative KOL’s in the US.

Plan and manage the ZEISS SPS presence at all US exhibitions and trade shows – including booth presence, sales team organization and satellite events

Develop and adapt all US SPS marketing collateral – using a combination of HQ generated materials along with materials developed locally in the US

Brief, select and manage local US agencies to deliver this marketing collateral

Manage US SPS advertising, media placements and interaction with media owners

Identify, generate and execute on articles, videos and PR communications for placement within US media

Manage and promote the US digital marketing campaign – including social media, US website and 3rd party advertising campaigns

Execute on pre-agreed elements of product life cycle management in alignment with Product Management
Do you qualify?
-
5+ years commercial/sales and marketing experience in leading, engaging and motivating nationwide marketing teams that took share from market leaders with innovative technologies. Preferably within the MedTech sector.

Experience of ophthalmic industry is desirable.

Confident working across both executional marketing and commercial initiatives and developing a US marketing strategy

Comfortable working autonomously with direction from US based marketing team.

Experience of product launches and lifecycle management is essential.

Proven executional marketing skills across congresses, print, digital and event marketing; results focused; sets stretching targets, implements innovative marketing strategies

Commercial, creative and solutions orientated

Ability to work effectively & cooperatively within a global company

Must have the ability to travel as a major component of this role.

The annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000.
The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions. ZEISS also offers robust benefits, including medical plans, retirement savings plan and paid time off.
