The Role

BrainBox AI utilizes self-adapted artificial intelligence technology to proactively optimize the energy consumption of one of the largest climate change contributors: Buildings.

Our AI engine supports a self-operating building that requires no human intervention. Using deep learning, cloud-based computing, and our proprietary process, our solution autonomously optimizes existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control systems for maximum impact on energy consumption.

An exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate to be part of a fast-growing company. We are looking for a talented and passionate Brand and Content Marketing Manager to develop and execute the company's brand strategy, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints. This role also oversees the content strategy, producing high-quality, engaging written content that resonates with target audiences, strengthens brand positioning, and drives business results. The ideal candidate will combine general technical understanding of commercial HVAC, creative writing, brand management skills, a think-outside-the-box mentality, and a proven track record in complex B2B environments. 

What you will do

  • Develop, manage, and execute on the organization’s corporate and product brand strategy to ensure alignment with company goals and market trends.
  • Oversee the creation of brand guidelines, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, to ensure consistency across all internal and external communications.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business objectives, brand identity, market trends, and target market needs.
  • Manage and contribute to the creation of sales tools such as sell sheets, presentation decks, case studies, frequently asked product questions, and more.
  • Create written content to support the commercialization of BrainBox AI products and solutions including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, ad content, product messaging, product lexicons, and more.
  • Ensure that all content is optimized for SEO and relevant for various platforms, including website, social media, email, and paid media.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure content is integrated effectively and consistently across paid, earned, and owned media.
  • Work closely with design, product, and sales teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and image across all touchpoints.
  • Manage external agencies or freelancers to support content creation as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitors to inform content strategies and brand positioning.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to brand and content marketing efforts, making recommendations for improvement.

 

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, content marketing, and/or a similar marketing role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and content strategies.
  • Extremely strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to produce content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Previous experience managing people.
  • Expertise in SEO, content marketing platforms, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Experience with social media platforms, email marketing, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems like HubSpot and Salesforce. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, Asana, Miro, and other collaboration tools.
  • Experience using AI tools to support work and output.
  • Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.

Language Requirements

  • French-English bilingualism is required. 
  • In addition to fluency in French, successful candidates must have full professional proficiency in English in order to support and collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or various stakeholders.
