Why do we need to hire a Product Marketing Lead? Well, our product communication and media have been living separate lives, and as a result, users and potential users don’t always see the full picture of what’s happening in the product. We need someone to take ownership of our product storytelling, bring clarity and structure, and build a strong go-to-market strategy. We already have the ideas and the talent to create great content, but we’re missing a showrunner — someone who can bring focus, keep projects on track, and turn creativity into real impact. A storyteller who puts meaning before metrics and unites all our messaging into one consistent voice.

We’re a remote-first team of ˜35 friends spread around the world with an HQ in Barcelona. We’ve built one successful product and now transitioning to a broader vision. Requirements🧑‍🎤 Who are you?
  • Experienced in leading marketing for international tech-forward products with a bold, creative brand voice, shaped product marketing, communications, or PR strategy end-to-end.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, ideally at a native or near-native level.
  • You get our audience: e-commerce brands, marketing agencies, and app developers, and you know the people and places in the marketing world that can open new doors for us.
  • You communicate with empathy — listening, processing, and shaping clear messaging that helps products make sense to real people, from landing pages to launch campaigns
  • An aesthete with a moral compass, attentive to detail, who won’t choose solutions that may bring quick wins but feel morally or aesthetically wrong (like roulette mechanics or aggressive pop-ups).
  • Thriving on trust and freedom — you work independently, start projects on your own, generate ideas, and own the results. You’re proactive, energetic, unafraid to take initiative, and an enabler who turns ideas into reality.
✍🏼 What will you do?

You’ll work closely with founders, designers, and product managers to shape how we talk about the product from strategy to execution.

In your first 3–6 months, you’ll turn new features like BïrchHub, Workspaces, and Studio into launch events on platforms such as Product Hunt and Reddit, run ad campaigns with solid unit economics and create a GTM strategy.

Main focus areas:

  • Own our product marketing strategy from positioning to planning.
  • Lead product and feature launches: messaging, naming, go-to-market.
  • Bring audience insights into early product thinking, shaping ideas before they get intro production, participate in feature planning discussions.
  • Collaborate on content — from landing pages to announcements to microcopy.
  • Execute ideas that balance meaning with metrics, making creativity both inspiring and effective.
  • Help evolve our website as a key channel for positioning and conversion.

  • This is a hands-on generalist role. Even as Marketing Lead, you’ll be the one building processes from scratch and balancing strategic vision with day-to-day execution.
  • Like any startup, there’s uncertainty. There’s no clear step-by-step playbook for success — you’ll need to chart that path. We already have pockets of success, but now we need someone to reimagine how we tell our story from scratch, invent and test new ways, and not be afraid of trial and error
  • We need someone who leads, not follows. We're looking for someone to push us forward and guide our creative direction. There would be no traditional management structure or detailed briefs. You'll be making independent decisions and telling us what works and what doesn't. If you prefer more structured guidance and frequent check-ins, this role might not be the best match for your working style — and that’s okay.
