About The Role
As the Growth Marketing Lead at Ideogram, you’ll develop our marketing strategy and drive the next phase of our user growth. This is a unique opportunity to be the first marketing hire at a fast growing AI startup, working directly with the CEO and product team to define and execute our go-to-market approach. Ideogram is a highly visual platform where an avid creative community generates millions of professional-quality designs every day, giving you a rare opportunity to build at the intersection of technology, design, and culture. You’ll wear many hats, operate with a high degree of ownership and urgency, and thrive as part of a fast-moving, collaborative team. What We’re Looking For
More than 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally as an early marketing hire at an early-stage startup.
Proven success in driving growth through innovative marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of SEO, email marketing, digital marketing, and content creation.
Experience managing contractors or freelancers to execute marketing plans.
Proficiency with analytics platforms and marketing automation tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach to marketing ownership.
Experience engaging with influencers and leveraging partnerships to grow brand visibility.
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where creativity and data-driven decisions go hand in hand.
Founding Team
Our founding team consists of world-renowned AI experts including Mohammad Norouzi, Jonathan Ho, William Chan, and Chitwan Saharia. This team has previously led transformative AI projects at Google Brain, UC Berkeley, CMU, and the University of Toronto. Our fundamental work in AI includes: Imagen: Google’s text-to-image system, Imagen Video for video synthesis, Denoising Diffusion Models, which is the foundation of the recent generative media transformation.
