SUMMARY:
Lakeland Fire + Safety’s Marketing team is seeking a summer 2026 Marketing Intern to support a variety of marketing initiatives including event marketing, campaign development, content creation, digital marketing, and product marketing activities. This internship is structured to provide hands-on exposure to multiple areas of marketing while offering opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, and marketing team members.
This Huntsville, AL-based role will work in-office with team members four days a week and remotely on Fridays. The internship is expected to begin mid-May 2026 and continue for a 3-month period. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, eager to learn, and interested in gaining broad marketing experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, lead tracking, campaign reporting, and CRM updates
  • Provide support for trade shows, customer events, webinars, and internal marketing initiatives, including logistics coordination, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and organize marketing content such as presentations, social media posts, email copy, blog content, and sales enablement materials
  • Assist with maintaining marketing assets, databases, and project tracking tools to support efficient team operations
  • Help coordinate cross-functional projects with sales, product management, and other internal stakeholders
  • Support basic reporting and analysis of marketing activities and campaign performance
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative marketing projects to gain exposure to multiple areas of marketing
  • Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned to support evolving business and marketing needs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Interest in learning about multiple areas of marketing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications; experience with marketing platforms, CRM systems, or design tools is a plus but not required
  • Previous internship, campus organization, or project experience is a plus
