RequirementsAbout the Role
We are looking for a bold, hyper-creative, and fast-moving Marketing Intern to join our team! If you live and breathe social media, know what makes a video go viral, and can spot a trend before it peaks, this role is for you.
You’ll be at the forefront of crafting engaging content, riding viral trends, and helping us shape how technology is transforming the insurance industry.
- Fast-Paced Video & Content Creation: Ideate, script, film, and edit engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and graphics from end to end.
- Trend-Jacking & Social Media Management: Spot online trends instantly and turn them into relevant content. Assist in managing posts, comments, and engagement across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, Threads).
- Creative Copywriting: Write catchy, attention-grabbing captions, video scripts, and short-form copy that resonate with our target audience.
- Algorithm & Strategy Execution: Understand what content performs best on each platform and leverage algorithm best practices to maximize reach and engagement.
- Campaign & Team Support: Brainstorm outside-the-box creative campaigns and collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute content strategies effectively.
- Creative & Out-of-the-Box Thinker: A natural storyteller who brings fresh, unconventional ideas to the table.
- Fast-Paced Executor: Ability to act quickly, produce content on short turnarounds, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Video & Design Savvy: Hands-on experience with CapCut and Canva. (Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus!)
- Social Media & Algorithm Literate: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter and Threads —you know what works, what doesn't, and how content goes viral.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu (written and spoken). Fluency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
- Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Creative Media, Journalism, or a related field.
- Industry Curiosity: Eager to learn how tech and innovation are changing the insurance landscape.
- 🎬 Portfolio Required: A portfolio showcasing your short-form videos, creative design, or social media work is highly preferred.
- 🔥 Viral Experience: Bonus points if you’ve personally created content or managed a page that went viral!

Skills Required
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong interest in marketing and content creation
- Understanding of social media trends, including hashtags, emojis, and acronyms
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
- Understanding of platform-based marketing strategies
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Comfort working with data and/or content creation
- Portfolio showcasing content, writing, or social media work
