Job Description:
We are seeking a technically strong, detail-oriented Data & Reporting Analyst to support the Marketing Organization. The successful candidate will support recurring data refresh cycles, data preparation, reporting updates and ad-hoc requests requiring timely analysis and output creation. This includes collecting and standardizing data from multiple sources, maintaining reporting assets, and performing QA and validation to ensure outputs align with defined data models and KPI logic.
This role requires a balance of technical capability and business awareness, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across stakeholders, and deliver consistent, high-quality results in a dynamic environment. Designs dashboards, identifies trends and patterns, works with other data and analytics professionals to optimize, refine, automate, and scale analysis into repeatable analytics solutions and decision support tools.
- Produces regular and ad-hoc Dashboards and Reports to communicate insights effectively across various LOB partners.
- Breaks down complex business problems and analyzes data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitors data pipelines, conducts quality tests, and resolves issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Works with different teams, management, and stakeholders to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions deployed in the organization.
- Translates business needs to technical specifications and evaluates existing data visualization systems to improve them.
- Develops data visualizations of large amounts of data that facilitate the intuitive presentation of data to decision makers.
- Develops tools and delivers training programs for use of reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical end users; may include delivery of training to audiences.
- Build and maintain supporting documentation for our dashboards and internal processes in line with our risk directives and frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Typically, between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets including but not limited to SAS, PowerBI, Looker, LookML, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Google Analytics, Python
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
