To support our commercial and marketing ambitions, we are looking for a Marketing Research Intern who will help us better understand our market and strengthen our brand presence across the Benelux. We are looking for a marketing student who enjoys turning data into insights and conduct a strategic research project that helps us shape the future marketing direction of a leading sustainable seafood company.
Your Assignment
During your internship, you will investigate two key research questions:
What is the current level of awareness of yellowtail kingfish kingfish among professional chefs in the Benelux?
What is the current level of awareness of The Kingfish Company among professional chefs in the Benelux?
The insights you gather will help shape future marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies.
What will you do?
Design and execute a market research project among professional chefs in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Conduct surveys, interviews, and desk research.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity.
Measure brand awareness and product awareness within target groups.
Identify opportunities to increase visibility and market penetration.
Translate research findings into clear recommendations for the Sales and Marketing teams.
Present your findings and recommendations
Who are you?
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Commercial Economics, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
Passion for market research, branding, and food markets.
Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with data.
Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
